Four global air carriers have been named to this year’s Dow Jones Sustainability Index. Delta, Air France-KLM, All Nippon and Qantas were recognized as “Sustainability Leaders.”
Delta is the sole U.S.-based airline among 143 companies listed on the North American index. A total of 2,500 companies are reviewed annually to create the sustainability index.
The index is a resource for investors seeking to support socially responsible companies and industries.
Companies are reviewed for economic, environmental and social performance, and are assessed in corporate governance, risk management, branding, climate change mitigation, supply chain standards and labor practices.
