Stay green and be cool in Miami at the brand-new Element Miami International Airport. This is the 10th Element in the U.S. to be built green from the ground up as part of Starwood Hotels & Resorts’ hip “eco-wise” brand that mandates U.S. Green Building Council LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification.
Element Miami International Airport’s 209 guestrooms and suites are targeted to both business and leisure travelers. Not only is it at the doorstep of one of the world’s busiest air-travel hubs, but it’s also just two blocks from the long-anticipated Miami Central Station, which opens in spring 2012. The new facility will include metro rail service to downtown Miami and a new rental car center.
The hotel offers complimentary breakfast, a 24-hour fitness center, complimentary evening receptions, a gourmet food pantry, an electric vehicle charging station and kitchens with filtered water and ENERGY STAR-rated appliances.
